Meet Our Founders
Josh and Angie Vogel
Josh Vogel – Co-Owner & Head Instructor
Josh Vogel is a 3rd-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with over
23 years of experience in training, competing, and coaching.
A dedicated practitioner and published sports writer, Josh is also the creator of 90 Day Project-Based Jiu Jitsu—an innovative online instructional system designed to help students develop their skills through structured, goal-oriented training. His teaching approach emphasizes technical precision, problem-solving, and efficiency, making him a highly respected figure in the BJJ community.

Angela Vogel is a 1st-degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt with 14 years of experience in both training and teaching Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. As The Jiu Jitsu Company’s operations manager, she plays a crucial role in ensuring that the academy runs smoothly. Beyond the mats, she is the creative force behind the academy’s merchandise and social media presence, fostering a strong, connected, and inspired community both inside and outside the gym.
